Mechanical inspection

EV's Optis™ tool range can be used for a wide range of mechanical inspections. EV's Optis™ technology provides the capability to inspect any area from the rotary table to TD. Being able to see the state of a seal face or to check a milled window can save many days of rig time or even a wasted sidetrack. Crown plugs: Optis™ RT120 is ideal for inspecting for debris on crown plugs before workover and then ensuring crown plug seals are undamanged.

Subsea BOP: Optis™ RT-120 can be used to inspect BOP seal faces when run on drillpipe. Optis™ e-line sideview can be used when clear fluids can be circulated through kill lines.

Subsea wellheads: The 360 degree pan and tilt capability combined with industry leading camera technology make Optis™ RT-120 the ideal tool.

Subsea tree valves: Optis™ e-line sideview is ideal for obtaining a high resolution picture of valves.

Subsurface safety vales: Inspecting for damage or determining of position can be done simply with Optis™ Slickline.

Sliding sleeve position: The Optis™ Sideview provides a definitive picture of whether the sleeve is open or closed.

Milled window for a sidetrack or lateral: Optis™ Sideview provides the perfect picture.

Whipstock orientation: Optis™ e-line or slickline's high side indicator ensures that you get a picture showing the orientation with respect to the highside.

Screens: Inspecting for damage or determining the quality of a cleaning run is simply done with EV's technology.
