Wellhead Annulus Inspections
An Inspection system designed to provide internal visual data of horizontal chokes and annulus entry ports. Typically the cameras access through choke valves or Annulus valves on the side of the well-heads.

The system is pressure rated to 3000psi to allow for access whilst the wells are live. Current designs have been used for carrying out inspections on Drill-Quip and Vetco well-heads. Drill Quip lubricator or Vetco valve retrieval tools are used on these wellheads to manipulate the cameras into position.
An autonomous battery powered memory camera for deployment into horizontal bores and capable of taking in excess of 600 2megapixel still images stored on an internal storage card. The camera can be pre-programmed with a delay and stills are then taken at a pre-determined interval.
Previous applications for this system have included:
- Inspect thread and hanger for corrosion damage under well control conditions
- Condition of the valve seats and gates/balls
- Condition of threads for valve change out / retrieval plug seats
- Condition of Annulus ports, particularly for cuttings reinjection
