Wellbore Hold-up
An unexpected and also baffling wellbore hold-up in this month's video feature. EV was called in to deploy its downhole memory camera to discover the reason for a hold-up at depth, the client knew there was an obstruction and needed confirmation and information.

What we found at depth was not only a hold-up, but holes in the tubing and a foam-like substance preventing further downhole progress. The video shows the various problems, all of which clearly should not be there.

A question remains: what exactly is the hold-up? The camera sets down on the foam-like substance, but where has it come from, and what is it? What do you think? Let us know.
