A leak identified and an unexpected fish
The client in this month's video clip needed a downhole camera inspection of the subsea wellhead which had a control line leak to tubing and sea.

The tubing leak was sealed with a straddle that had resumed leaking - this was believed to be due to methanol used to prevent hydrate build up dissolving the elastomer seals. We've highlighted the leak on the video.

It not only indicated the leak in the lower end of the profile, but further down and unexpected, clearly showed where rubber elements from the straddle had landed. The camera knocked the element vertical enabling the fish to be successfully retrieved.

Another successful operation and a very happy customer which led immediately to another mobilisation!
